Privacy, cookies & advertising
This policy applies to TripNoble (www.tripnoble.com) and the services we operate. Effective date: 18 August 2026. TripNoble is funded by advertising and membership is free. This page explains what we collect, which third parties can set cookies, and how to change your choices.
What we store
Account email, your channel and destination preferences, your reading list, and reactions or comments you post. Profile details you provide at sign-up, such as country and interests, are stored with your account. Preferences and saved items are stored under your account only and are never sold.
Information collected automatically
When you use TripNoble, we and our advertising and analytics providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view and when, approximate location derived from your IP address (country or city level), and cookies or similar identifiers.
This information is used to deliver the service and to keep it secure and free of abuse. Collection for analytics and advertising purposes only happens after you opt in through the cookie choices below.
Third-party advertising cookies
We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Non-personalized ads still require a cookie for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
Ad units are never placed over, next to, or in a way that obscures an article's source name or its link to the original publisher.
Cookie categories we use
- Essential — authentication, session security and fraud prevention. Always active; the site cannot run without them.
- Analytics — visit and traffic measurement. Off until you opt in.
- Marketing — ad retargeting and marketing pixels, consented separately from analytics. Off until you opt in.
Your current cookie choices
Analytics: Off · Marketing: Off
Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately: the analytics and marketing scripts are removed from the page and their cookies are deleted.
Location permission
TripNoble never requests your browser location silently. We ask once, explain that it is used to personalize destination recommendations, and you can deny or later revoke it from Settings. Every feature works without location access.
Source content and copyright
TripNoble publishes only original TripNoble-authored summaries and original thumbnails, always paired with the source name and a direct link to the original article. We never reproduce full text, embed the source page, or re-host a publisher's images. To report an inaccuracy or a copyright concern, use the report action on any card.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion purges your profile, saved items, comments and preferences.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request. Consent records are retained for 12 months so we can prove which choices were in effect. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained for up to 26 months.
Opting out of personalized ads
You can turn off marketing cookies here at any time using Cookie Settings. You can also manage Google personalized advertising directly, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies through the industry pages below.
Children's privacy
TripNoble is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Third-party services we use
Ad serving and measurement: Google AdSense (Google LLC). Traffic analytics: Google Analytics (loaded only after you opt in). Account storage, database and site hosting: our cloud infrastructure provider. Translation and summary generation: AI processing providers, to which we do not send personal data.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Legal bases and international transfers
Essential cookies and account operation rely on performance of our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in running a secure service. Analytics and advertising cookies rely solely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Our advertising, analytics and hosting providers may store and process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Transferred data is limited to access logs and cookie identifiers, retained for the periods described under Data retention. If you prefer not to have data transferred for these purposes, decline or withdraw consent — ads will then be served on a non-personalized basis.
We do not sell personal information
TripNoble does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and does not share it for third parties' own independent marketing. Data shared with advertising partners is limited to the cookie-based ad serving and measurement described above.
Data security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), least-privilege access, row-level database access controls and logging of administrative access. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and how to contact us
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or withdraw consent for analytics and marketing processing at any time. We respond within 30 days.
Data protection contact: privacy@tripnoble.com. General enquiries: hello@tripnoble.com. Postal and legal notices: legal@tripnoble.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify you on the site or by email. Continuing to use TripNoble after a change means you accept the updated policy.
